5first day use and love it already!Jul 01, 2008
I've read lot of reviews and also loved the stylish pattern before purchasing this highchair. And I just got it yesterday! I'm really glad I did.

1st pro: it's really easy to assemble, didn't even need to read those instructions.
2nd pro: not only I love the colorful cushion, but today, on the first day use, my daughter seemed to love it and felt very comfortable in it already.
3rd pro: my daughter's only 5 months old and is weighting only 5.70 kg, and she fits in the chair very well. So for anyone who complained that this highchair is not made for small babies, that's because they don't know how to adjust it. The 5 points safety harnesses have to be adjusted at the lowest slits at the back of the chair and have to be shortened to the maximum possible. I don't use the tray yet, because for now, I'm feeding her at the lowest recline position, for both bottle and cereals feeding. So it's not useful to put the tray for now, better let her kick her legs freely. The tray storage feature is really a plus here.
4th pro: the 3 reclining positions one-hand maneuvering feature is great. Although she doesn't sit and is not able to hold her head 100% steady yet, giving her bottles in this highchair at the lowest recline position is even more convenient than holding her, because she will be always at the right angle to help better digestion, and less muscle strain for me as well. Feeding her cereals at the lowest recline and highest height position is as comfortable for her than for myself, because I can sit on a chair at her height instead of sitting on the floor (hurting my back!)

1st con: although I like the fact that the cushioned vinyl seat pads are really easy to wipe clean, it's not breathable material. My daughter's head usually sweats alot, so on vinyl it's worse, I've to put a thin absorbent towel under her head. If you don't like vinyl, Chicco has this highchair made in fabric as well, but they're plain colors only.
2nd con: the 5 points safety harnesses woven fabric material is hard to spot clean when purees are dropped on it. I had to use a damp toothbrush and soapy water to clean it through.
3rd con: the seat is the only part that I have to force it a bit to fold it up, for everything else, reclining, folding, adjusting are like a breeze.
4th con: the snap-on tray liner doesn't fit in our dishwasher. But with 2-3 times uses a day, who would clean it in dishwasher anyway? To me, be able to take it off for easy cleaning in a sink is a big plus already.

Overall my husband and I really love this highchair, and my daughter seemed enjoy it very much too! The cons here are not important enough to bother me. We recommend it to all parents who are considering to purchase a highchair. We purchased few Chicco products, like Chicco Lullaby LX Playard Pacifica with bassinet, Chicco Cortina Keyfit Travel System Stroller and Car Seat Iceberg, and love them all.

5Love It!Jun 14, 2008
This high chair was so easy to put together- maybe 15 minutes. It is sturdy and colorful- and the cushion is so plush, I think my granddaughter is going to love it. The foot rest is a great feature for toddlers and I love the way it folds up so I can sit it against a wall when not in use. Overall, this one is a winner!

5Great high chair! Ignore the trivial complaints!Jun 08, 2008
This really is a great high chair. I don't know why people complain about it's features.

If you don't fold it up, thats fine. I hardly fold up up either. But why would that would ever be considered a bad feature is beyond me. We have company coming over today, and I love that fact that it folds flat! It can even fit in a coat closet!

The reclining seat is a nice feature as well. I fed my daughter solids, then reclined her (just one setting) to give her some fluids. This was just because she tends to lean her head back and drink from the bottle, so I thought I'd recline her instead, and she seemed much more comfortable.

The height adjustment is also nice for when you want to pull your baby up to the table, and he or she can sit with all of you! The arm rests even go up, and you can pull it even closer.

If you want to get a nice clean cover, try using the suction wand on your vacuum, and then wipe clean. Its not that big of a deal to wipe it down when its dirty. My baby hardly even gets it dirty. But I've also been told I have a clean eater.

I agree, it would be nice to have the tray fit in a dishwasher. The way I got around that is I washed it by hand, then put in in the dishwaher on the "Drying" setting (layed on top of the dishes on the bottom rack, at an angle). Not enough to make me complain about it.

This is overall a very good high chair. Its also stylish, very light weight, and compact (when you want it to be). I think most people would be very satisfied with this purchase.

1Big Mistake!Dec 03, 2007
Buying this high chair was a big mistake. If I could give it a no star review, I would. Sure, it is cute and has lots of features ... features that you do not need. It is not necessary for a high chair you use three times a day to fold up compactly, nor is it necessary to have a reclining chair or one that has adjustable heights. What is necessary is to have a high chair that is easy to clean and that has an easy to use tray. The Chicco Polly lacks both of these requirements. The chair pads are not machine washable and get gross very quickly. It's a real pain to wipe them down every day, and I never feel like they get truly clean. The tray is also a problem. First, it is very hard to get on the highchair, even using two hands. Secondly, the tray "covers" may be dishwasher safe, but they do not fit in my average size dishwasher. Moreover, the tray "covers" actually do not cover the whole tray, so you end up having to handwash two big, cumbersome pieces at least once a day. In addition, even though my daughter is 13 months old, the tray is still too high (and not adjustable) for her to easily feed herself. Not a good product at all. An expensive mistake.

4Lots of features, but a little flimsyNov 23, 2007
I love the high chair and all it's features. The recline, the height adjustment and the leg rest coming all the way up like a recliner is great for little babies. It's a little flimsy though, you have to be carefull when moving it around, it feels like the wheels could break or the legs because they are just not very strong at the joints. I'd buy it again though. Just be gentle when wheeling it from room to room.
