5Great Chair. It survived 4 kids!!!Oct 13, 2007
This has been a great chair for our first 4 kids. We need to order another one for our 5th, since the last round of boys have finally put this one to rest.

I never understood the size issue mentioned. All of our kids fit well, but then again they're all in the 95th %ile for size. I'm not sure why an infant would be fed in a high chair. We start them in this when they start on real food at 6 months.

Cleaning the harness is tough, but nothing is perfectly clean with kids. I think it's good enough, even after cleaning up the food that comes back out of the kid.

1Big Mistake Buying this chair...Jan 19, 2007
I bought this chair (same chair tan leatherette)a couple years ago. I didnt like it then, and I hate it now. I use it for my 2nd child & its soo messy. Cleaning it is next to impossible. The tray is too far out and food gets spilled easily down the front. Also, the seat on the chair seems to lean down on the left side).
I wouldnt waste the money on this.

1Disappointed customerJul 20, 2006
I was also disappointed with this highchair for the same above reasons. I don't know how they expect for an infant/toddler to sit in this chair in a functional position to eat. Are the Italian kids giants or what? I have to put a small pillow under her bottom so she can sit tall enough to reach her food while in this chair. I have a Fisher-Price Healthy Care high chair half the price at a relatives home, and it is SO MUCH better in this regard. Also, don't waste your money on the Prima Pappa Rocker. I folded it up one night and it fell over (doesn't stand up well even when leaning against counter), and the seat unit was bent (basically broken and unusable). Anyway, who wants to rock their child when at the table? Don't waste your money. Buy a wooden chair as above or Fisher-Price.

1Hate this chairFeb 16, 2006
I am very disappointed with this highchair. I love the Peg Perego brand and I love their strollers but I HATE this high chair. These are new colors so I couldn't find any other reviews on it but I had to share.

The bad points: The chair is extremely hard to clean. You almost need to scrub it with a toothbrush daily. The cover is hard to get on and off too. There are so many cracks and crannies for crumbs and sticky stuff to hide. I take mine outside once a week and hose it off. The tray is WAY too high. My daughter is now 19 months old and it is still too high.
When she was a baby it was near her chin. It also doesn't push in close enough making even more of a mess. You will use a highchair for almost 2 years and this one doesn't work for babies or toddlers.

The good points: I love that is has the piece between her legs so she can't fall through. That's it.

If I could do it all over again, being older and wiser!, I would buy a wooden highchair with the tray that goes up and over and stays behind it. You could put a towel down or cushion and clean it regulary. My friend has one and it's the best. No little cracks for food to hide. Easy to clean.

Don't waste your money on this expensive chair. They have to keep coming out with different colors so people will keep buying them. Get a wooden one and get a cool pad for it!
