Nana Likes Perego Pappa DinerJul 24, 2008 Tried out some of the more popular highchair models and was disappointed on the quality. Read several reviews; realized that I was correct many of them would need to be replaced for second or third children.
I was skeptical of the reclining feature on the Perego but after trying it find that it can be useful.
Tray is set high for a 6 mo old but since the tray functionally will be used more when feeding himself which is two or more months away I don't find it a hindrance. We use tray for my grandson to play with his toys after eating or while waiting and having to reach over the tray top to reach toys helps him learn to problem solve.
He likes the chair and I am very happy with the ease of set up, use and cleaning. Glad I chose this highchair. Price point not much over other models and since I won't need to replace it every grandchild I think it was worth the extra few dollars.
Good Points:
One hand tray removal (if wheel brakes locked)
One hand recline
Double tray hooks on back legs for storage
Vinyl seat for easy clean up
Comes pre-assembled except for wheel castors
Footprint fairly compact
Drawbacks:
No place for storing bibs or toys
