Affordable basic high chairOct 10, 2008 Great price, good materials, assembly a little like a bike on Xmas Eve, but if I could do it, anyone can. I was very pleased with this chair.
Not Good! Oct 03, 2008 As a Grandma I thought this would be a great extra high chair for parties.
The quality is poor with a split in the bottom inner frame & uneven stain with knots. I had to return it. I do not recommend this high chair.
good chair, great priceOct 03, 2008 Had a few reservations after some of the reviews but this chair looked good (a few minor marks on the stain that you don't notice) and was very easy to assemble. No issues with missing parts or directions. It's also a great value. I already figured the stain was darker than pictured from the written description. It's definitely on the walnut-cherry spectrum so be aware.
perfectSep 18, 2008 easy to assmble and she sits still in it. what else can I say, worth every penny!
Item was defectiveSep 02, 2008 The chair came in a nice thin package and the wood seems good quality. It took more time than expected, but I could assemble it in the end. The chair looks very nice, and it would go nice with any kitchen furniture set.
The screw holes in the wood are strengthened with metal nests, which is a good idea to make the joints more secure. Unfortunately, one of the metal nests was turning freely in the one that I got. Maybe it is the wood, maybe they couldn't install the piece correctly into the wood. I will give them the benefit of doubt and return the chair for replacement. I am not sure if the piece will get loose after some usage. Then it would be a safety issue with this product. I will keep an eye on the replacement even if it comes without problems.
